still thinkin’ about it
Its almost been a month since the plane rides back home, but my mind cant keep it out. I feel like this (Portland) is the dream land and there (Israel) is my home. I miss everyone like crazy! All my new family members, that treated me as one of their own. And all the new life long friends (hopefully) that i feel like I’ve known forever. All the amazing sights are completely unforgettable, but depressing to think about, knowing that i might never be able to see them again. It’ll take forever for my body to realize that it wont be easy to go back and visit, but I’ll never give up. I’ll make it back some day.
I just wanted to say thank you for the amazing experience and all the hard work you chaperons have put into it.
